In, with and for South Australia

Tagged with | |

From 1st of March we have a new home – Adelaide. There we’ll be working in, with and for The Australian Centre for Social Innovation, a new organisation set up by the premier of South Australia. TACSI will raise the profile of social innovation through events, a major competition and live projects with local government and service providers that will create social impact. It’s all about, as the strapline proclaims, ‘Bold Ideas. Better Lives.’

We’ll be leading their first radical redesign project and are currently building a partnerships with local government departments and service providers. The broad focus of the project will be on improving transitions. Over 9 months we’ll work with local people, practitioners and policy makers to build and run a prototype to test out new ways of living and doing.

You can read more about TACSI, it’s origins, activities and ambitions in The Adelaide Review’s feature with CEO Brenton Caffin. The article sets out TACSI’s place in South Australia’s strong tradition of social innovation. We’re honoured and excited to be a part of that.
