What’s not co-production?
The co-design, co-production, co-creation, co-delivery space can be a little confusing. Many think that co’s are good things to have but use the terms as if interchangeable.  In The Challenge of Co-production David Boyle and Michael Harris, (for Nesta’s Lab and The New Economics Foundation) provide us with this useful explanation in the form of a matrix adapted from earlier work by the Canrnegie Trust.
For Boyle and Harris full co-production happens only where user/communities & professionals are jointly responsible for designing and delivering services.  Now all we need to do is find a process to make that happen.
